In Memoriam by Mark McDougal
My father, Luther Love McDougal III, was a man who met with his own approval. He had a comfortable confidence about himself. He paid attention to his appearance and had a gracefulness about him. His gait was distinguished by a high school football injury. His wit was accompanied by a bright smile, sparkling blue eyes, and silver hair. My visual memory of him is a spirited, effervescent one.
